چکیده
Background: One of the most commonly performed surgeries globally is Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (LC) which gold standard surgical procedure for removal gallbladder. It provides numerous benefits over open cholecystectomy but has also shown higher complication rates. Therefore, a system devised pre operative assessment intra difficulty level should be adopted to help with preparedness complications and ensure an efficient course surgery. Objective: The aim this study was validate scoring made by Randhawa Et al assess preoperatively. Study Design: This non randomized prospective observational Methodology: conducted in department general surgery unit 2 at Dow University Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan on 202 patients. Age, gender, BMI, history previous hospitalization, examination finding palpable gallbladder, abdominal scars sonographic findings including wall thickness pericholecystic collection impacted stone were considered score patient Results: Male gender presence fluid found statistically significant predicting intraoperative patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Practical implications: Around 7 35% ends up getting converted into could due various reasons one lack performing For reason, that accurately predicts reducing rate. Keeping benefit mind, preformed tested its validity assessing LC Keywords: cholecystectomy, Scoring system,

Preoperative Prediction of Difficult Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy: A Scoring Method
BACKGROUND Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) has become the procedure of choice for management of symptomatic gallstone disease. At times, it is difficult and takes longer time or has to be converted to an open procedure. This study is undertaken to determine the predictive factors for difficult LC. AIM The aim was to evaluate a scoring method to predict difficult LC preoperatively. MATERIA...
متن کاملPreoperative Prediction of the Difficulty of Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy
A total of 204 patients with difficult situation cholecystitis were enrolled to this study from April 2007 to January 2014 at PortFouad general hospital and Suez-Canal University hospital. Surgical interference for patients with acute cholecystitis was done within 72 hours from the onset of symptoms of the acute inflammation. Written consent was obtained from all patients or first degree relati...
متن کاملA novel difficulty scoring system for laparoscopic liver resection.
Early on, laparoscopic liver resection (LLR) was limited to partial resection, but major LLR is no longer rare. A difficulty scoring system is required to guide surgeons in advancing from simple to highly technical laparoscopic resections. Subjects were 90 patients who had undergone pure LLR at three medical institutions (30 patients/institution) from January 2011 to April 2014. Surgical diffic...

Background: Identifying risk factors for conversion to open surgery laparoscopic cholecystectomy and factors are difficult to predict cholecystectomy surgery is required. The aim of this study was to evaluate the findings of preoperative ultrasound in predicting the length of laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery. Methods: The present study was performed cross-sectional on 122 patients who unde...
